Overview
The X-Ray Wrist Joint – AP/LAT/OBL (Anteroposterior, Lateral, and Oblique) Views is a diagnostic imaging test used to examine the wrist joint from three different angles — front (AP view), side (Lateral view), and angled (Oblique view).
These multiple views provide a detailed assessment of the wrist bones, joint alignment, and surrounding structures. This test is highly useful for diagnosing fractures, dislocations, arthritis, ligament-related injuries, and other wrist abnormalities.
