Overview
The Widal slide test is a rapid agglutination assay that detects antibodies in your blood produced in response to a Salmonella infection. The “Slide Method” is primarily used for quick screening to determine the presence of antibodies against specific bacterial parts: the O (Somatic) antigen and the H (Flagellar) antigen.
