Overview
Hysterosalpingography (HSG) is a specialized diagnostic imaging procedure used to evaluate the uterus (womb) and fallopian tubes in women.
In this test, a contrast dye is gently injected through the cervix, and X-ray images are taken to check whether the fallopian tubes are open or blocked, and to assess the shape of the uterine cavity.
HSG is one of the most commonly recommended tests in infertility evaluation and reproductive health assessment.
