In a blood report, Absolute Values represent the actual concentration of each type of white blood cell (WBC) in your blood. While a standard “Differential” tells you the percentage of each cell type, the Absolute Value provides the hard number (usually in cells per microliter, μL).

This is a much more accurate way for doctors to diagnose infections or immune disorders because percentages can be misleading if your total WBC count is very high or very low.
