The Vision of Dr. R.P. Rastogi: Pioneering Pathology in Lucknow
In 1970, the late Dr. R.P. Rastogi founded Modern Pathology & Diagnostics Centre with a singular, revolutionary objective: to bring world-class diagnostic accuracy to the community. At a time when medical reporting relied entirely on manual laboratory processes, Dr. Rastogi recognized that human error had no place in patient care.
In 1980, he permanently altered the medical landscape by importing and installing Lucknow’s very first fully automated "random access" chemistry analyzer from Germany. This milestone established our identity as a tech-forward institution and solidified our standing as a deeply trusted, authoritative pathologist in Lucknow.
