Overview
The X-Ray L.S. Spine – AP/LAT (Anteroposterior and Lateral) Views is a diagnostic imaging test used to examine the lumbo-sacral spine (lower back region) from two different angles — front (AP view) and side (Lateral view).
The lumbosacral spine includes the lumbar vertebrae and sacrum, which support body weight and allow movement. Dual-view imaging helps doctors evaluate spinal alignment, fractures, disc space changes, arthritis, and other lower back abnormalities.
It is commonly recommended for chronic back pain, injury, posture issues, or suspected spinal disorders.
