Overview
The X-Ray Cervical Spine – AP & Lateral Views is a diagnostic imaging test used to examine the cervical spine (neck region of the spine) from two different angles — front (AP view) and side (Lateral view).
The cervical spine consists of seven vertebrae (C1–C7) that support the head and allow neck movement. This dual-view X-ray helps doctors evaluate neck pain, spinal alignment, fractures, degeneration, and other cervical spine abnormalities.
It is commonly recommended for neck pain, trauma, stiffness, or suspected spinal disorders.
